Actor Denies Anti-Vax Position After Lending His Voice To Controversial Covid Documentary

Liam Neeson has given his narration to a recent film that casts doubt on the efficacy of vaccines and lauds ex- government figure the political figure.

The Documentary's Contentious Foundation

Called "Plague of Corruption," the film is inspired by a bestselling book written by a disgraced researcher, who gained notoriety during the pandemic for assertions that the virus was linked to a bad strain of the influenza shot.

Her collaborator, Kent Heckenlively, has also written books with conspiracy-prone radio host the Infowars host. Heckenlively wrote online praising Neeson's participation in the film.

An Unequivocal Statement

A spokesperson for Liam Neeson have issued a comment pushing back against implications that he subscribes to anti-vaccine views.

"Everyone can understand that unethical practices may occur within the pharmaceutical industry, but that should never be conflated with being against vaccines," the response explains. "He never has been, and remains not, anti-vaccination. His considerable work with the UN children's agency underscores his long-held support for worldwide vaccination initiatives."

It noted that the actor was not involved in crafting the film's narrative and that questions about its content ought to go to the filmmakers.

Major Themes In the Documentary

As presented, the script read by Neeson features several provocative points:

  • It states that pro-immunization voices have insisted on "complete compliance" to government bodies.
  • It argues that "science has become dangerously politicized."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is shown saying, "The big problem with vaccines is that they are not safely tested."
  • The narration takes aim at stay-at-home orders, arguing they caused mental anguish that resulted in thousands of lives.
  • Regarding the immunizations, it cites a perspective that they were "developed too quickly" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Past Controversy and Ongoing Disputes

It further cites a historical film about AIDS medication trials on children, which was afterwards the subject of a formal apology by the corporation for violations of guidelines.

Recently, Kennedy instructed the national health agency to alter its longstanding position that there is no connection between vaccines and autism. This claim is also referenced in the film, even with a recent study from the WHO stating no such link has been found.

A Past Statement of Support

Standing in contrast to the film's tone, Neeson has in the past expressed firm endorsement for vaccines in his capacity as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

Previously, he referred to vaccines as "an extraordinary achievement," stating that "The debate about vaccines in the past few years has forgotten how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in human history."

The film ends with Neeson's voice proclaiming, "This isn't the end of our journey. Rather, it is the beginning of a fresh chapter."
