Bullish Nancy shows no fear of dismissal yet the Parkhead faithful show wrath after derby defeat.
Wilfried Nancy stated he had no concerns about dismissal, asserting, “The team is really close to a turnaround,” even after sliding worryingly close to the exit with a heavy loss to their arch-rivals.
Another Collapse Sees Old Firm Defeat
The home side were ahead the visitors at the interval but a second-half capitulation allowed Rangers to draw level on points with the reigning league title holders. The French coach, who was hired from the MLS, has now been in charge for six defeats in his last eight games.

He continues to cling to the fact his team play well for one half at a time. “The standard we had at times was exceptionally high. This is the reality. And I would not speak so positively if it was not the case. “I saw many, many good things that we did, like today again. However it’s about consistency. My narrative would be different if I didn't believe it. This is why I am a big believer we will manage to turn things around.”
The Rangers Boss Response
Rangers manager played down talk of a championship push in spite of what felt like a statement victory. “We take it game by game, and we can really build up a challenge,” he said. “The confidence in the team is outstanding.”
