Previous British Broadcasting Corporation Consultants Participate in Parliamentary Inquiry After Assertions of Partiality in Disclosed Document

Previous BBC advisers testifying before Members of Parliament

We open with inquiries from Conservative lawmaker Caroline Dinenage, that chairs the committee.

She commences by providing context to the disclosed document written by Michael Prescott and published in a daily publication.

"I don't want the British Broadcasting Corporation leaning in any particular direction, I just want it balanced, unbiased and equitable," he states.

When asked whether he considers the BBC is institutionally biased, Prescott replies: "No, I do not. It is important to note, tons of stuff the British Broadcasting Corporation does is exceptional - both factual and fictional programming."

However, he continues: "There exists real work that needs to be done at the BBC."

Another previous consultant BBC adviser interviewed by the group, Caroline Daniel, states she regards the BBC extremely earnestly and that it has a "ongoing system and lively discussion" across evolving and intricate subjects.

"Did the BBC willing to conduct a thorough dialogue and argument and implement changes?" she questions. "In my view, yes they were."
