The Two Fatalities Revealed in the Providence Campus Incident as Police Press On With Manhunt for Gunman.

The pair of scholars who died in Saturday’s violent attack in Providence were being remembered Monday – amid a widespread hunt for their killer persisted following the freeing by Rhode Island officials of the sole person detained in connection in the case.

Honoring a Lost Student

Ella Cook, a sophomore from Alabama, was described as “an incredible, grounded, faithful, bright light”, according to the Advent Cathedral in Birmingham, which offered condolences for her at a gathering on Sunday.

Her role included second-in-command of Brown’s chapter of the College Republicans organization, as the club stated. Karoline Leavitt also shared sympathies online, stating: “There are no words. Thinking of her kin and peers, particularly her mother and father.”

MukhammadAziz Umurzokov

The other deceased individual was MukhammadAziz Umurzokov from Uzbekistan, from Uzbekistan in his initial year at the prestigious university, his family confirmed.

Umurzokov’s identity was officially acknowledged by Uzbekistan’s foreign ministry.

“He was incredibly kind, funny, and smart. His ambitions were lofty of becoming a neurosurgeon and helping people,” his sibling Samira said in a memorial statement.

The Shooting Incident

An additional nine individuals were wounded in Saturday’s attack in the school of engineering of Brown’s campus in Providence, during the school’s final exam period.

Officials stated on Sunday evening that a 24-year-man detained in a raid at a lodging about around 27 kilometers from the campus earlier in the day was released from custody.

“A perpetrator remains free,” declared Peter Neronha, Peter Neronha.
